Mr. Tangen, Principal of Colony Capital, LLC, is responsible for the identification, evaluation, and consummation of new investments, primarily in North America.

Prior to joining Colony in 2002, Mr. Tangen was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse First Boston ("CSFB") in Los Angeles. Prior to CSFB and business school, Mr. Tangen worked in the Investment Division of Colliers International in Vancouver, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of major commercial properties including office and industrial buildings, shopping centers and development lands. Mr. Tangen received his B. Comm. from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his M.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where he was recognized as a Palmer Scholar.
