Mr. Platonow, Principal of Colyzeo Investment Management, Colony's English fund manager, is responsible for the identification, evaluation, and consummation of new European investments. Mr. Platonow's responsibilities also include administrative management of the London and Paris offices.

Prior to joining Colony in 1997, Mr. Platonow worked as a consultant focused on strategic and operational issues. His clients included CB Madison Advisory Group and the National Research Council of Canada. He began his career as an architect renovating the Montréal Opera with the firm of Dimitri Dimakopoulos & Associates.

Mr. Platonow received a B. Sc. and B. Arch from McGill University. He received his M.B.A. from INSEAD in 1992 and obtained a M.Sc. in Real Estate from MIT in 1997.
