Mr. Masui, Principal of Colony Capital, LLC, is based in Tokyo and is responsible for providing strategic direction and new business development for Colony’s activities in Japan.

Prior to joining Colony in 1999, Mr. Masui was a consultant with Lehman Brothers in Japan where he was responsible for deal origination and sourced transactions of over $350 million. Prior to that, Mr. Masui was a Partner in Interpac Marketing Group from 1984 to 1996 where he advised Japanese property investors on U.S. real estate acquisitions totaling over $2.4 billion.

Mr. Masui received a B.A. in Economics and Art from Pepperdine University and also studied at Gakushuin University with a major in Economics.
