Mr. Harmeling joined with Colony to establish Colony Realty Partners, LLC in 2005, where he is a Senior Managing Director. He serves on CRP’s Executive and Investment Committees and is primarily responsible for acquisitions nationally.

Prior to the establishment of the CRP, Mr. Harmeling was with TA Associates Realty, where he served on each of TA’s five governing committees: Executive, Acquisitions, Asset Management, Investment and Finance. Mr. Harmeling was also one of the three directors of TA Realty Funds III, IV, V, and VI. He had a major role in the marketing of the funds as well as client and consultant contact. He was engaged in issues relating to personnel, finance, disposition, valuations, portfolio management and administration. Over the past twelve years, Mr. Harmeling sourced the acquisition of over 30 properties throughout the United States valued at over $1 billion.
