Mr. Chang, Principal of Colony Capital, LLC, is responsible for the identification, evaluation, and consummation of new investments, with a particular focus on extending Colony's presence and activities on a global basis in non-traditional real estate areas, including financial services, energy and natural resources, media, retail, and consumer products.

Prior to joining Colony in 2010, Mr. Chang was a Partner and Managing Director with TPG Capital, an international private equity investment firm which he joined in 1993. At TPG, Mr. Chang led private equity investments across a broad range of industries and in multiple geographies. He has served on the Board of Directors of Beringer Wine Estates, Crystal Decisions, Lenovo Group, On Semiconductor, Shenzhen Development Bank, Silverado Premium Properties, and UTAC Holdings.

Mr. Chang received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1993 and his BA in Economics and Political Science from Yale University in 1989. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Yale Capital Campaign, the Board of Trustees of The John Thomas Dye School, and the International Advisory Board of Virgin Green Fund.
