Mr. Barrack is Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Colony Capital, LLC, a private equity real estate company headquartered in Santa Monica, California.

As Chairman, Mr. Barrack has invested approximately $39 billion in assets around the globe. Today, Mr. Barrack oversees a global organization located in 13 cities and 10 countries. Prior to the formation of Colony, Mr. Barrack was a principal with the Robert M. Bass Group, the principal investment vehicle of the Fort Worth, Texas investor Robert M. Bass. Mr. Barrack also served in the Reagan administration as Deputy Undersecretary of the Department of the Interior.

Mr. Barrack received a B.A. in 1969 from the University of Southern California. He attended Law School at the University of San Diego and the University of Southern California, where he was an editor of the Law Review.
